Harrow International

Harrow International Management Services Ltd (HIMS) operates the Harrow International Schools. Each Harrow International School (HIS) operates with the benefit of a licence from Harrow School in the UK to use the name “Harrow”. Each school is privately and independently owned by Asia International Schools Ltd (AISL), the holding company for HIMS. The educational, administrative and financial responsibilities of HIMS are wholly separate from those of Harrow School in the UK.

Each school has its own Governing Board and is subject to the supervision of HIMS, the board of which includes two representatives of the owners and two of the Governors of Harrow School. Under the licence, Harrow School receives royalties for the use of the name and also has limited rights, including the right to exercise a degree of quality control and oversight. Informally, all the HISs and Harrow School seek ways in which to bring mutual educational benefit from their relationship as outlined in the section, The Harrow Ethos.
