Preparations for the school in Hong Kong are continuing on schedule. The design of the school is complete and was presented at a press conference in Hong Kong in April. Along with our special guest, Mr Barnaby Lenon, the Head of Harrow School in London, we were also pleased to meet 280 prospective parents at an evening function on the same day as the press conference. We now have over 500 registrations of interest from parents of prospective students for the school. We are now in the process of going to tender to appoint a construction company to build the school. P and T’s design is impressive and innovative while highly functional and practical.

Construction will commence later in the year. We will soon be appointing a Head Master and in February 2011 will start to appoint other senior staff with the balance of teaching staff being appointed a year later in readiness for opening in August 2012.

Other locations around the region are being actively considered as we move towards our aspiration of around 5 international schools.

We have also launched a new division, Education Services, led by former Head of Administration at HIS Bangkok, Mrs Anna Whitcraft. She is working alongside other educational providers in order to facilitate the provision of summer programmes involving specialisms in performing arts and languages and,  developing a number of CPD and training programmes.
