Chairman, Mr Peter Siddons
Mr Siddons recently retired as Chairman of the Harrow School Governors after 13 years on the Harrow UK board and Vice Chairman of the Harrow Bangkok and Beijing Boards of Governors (10 and 4 years respectively). Mr. Siddons worked for 30 years as a Chartered Accountant, 24 of them as a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers.
CEO, Mr Daniel Chiu
Mr Chiu has been actively involved in the development of export trading between China and the Middle-East and in investment in infrastructure for oil industries and real estate development in China. He is the Chairman of Federal Asia Company Limited and the Vice Chairman of Fortune Oil Plc listed in the London Stock Exchange.
Director of Schools and COO, Dr J. Mark Hensman
Previously, Dr Hensman was Headmaster of a traditional boys’ Secondary day and boarding school in New Zealand. During his Headship, he gained a reputation as a defender of a traditional approach to education during a period of significant reform. He was a member of the Minister of Education’s Principals’ advisory group and was Chairman of the independent Sixth Form External Examinations Board. He has also written or co-authored 9 Geography textbooks.
Dr Hensman was the Head Master of Harrow International School Bangkok for seven years and since August 2009 has been responsible for establishing other Harrow international schools and managing the Harrow International group of schools.
Dr. Hensman is Coordinator of the recently formed British Foundation Schools Abroad annual conference and Vice Chairman of the Royal Overseas League Thailand. Until recently he was Chairman of the Federation of British International Schools of South and East Asia (FOBISSEA) and was also previously Vice Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce and Secretary General of the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT).
Business Development Director, Yong Wei Leong
Previously, Mr Yong was Associate Director – Industrial Asia for Jones Lang Lasalle Property Consultants in Singapore. In this position, he played an active role in building up the business development platform for the Industrial Division in Asia. Before that, Mr Yong was with Jurong Port Pte Ltd where he was responsible for corporate planning and project development. In the field of education, Mr Yong helped open the Western Australian Education Office in Singapore in 1988 and successfully promoted Western Australia as a premier education destination.
CFO, Ms Louisa Ho
Ms Ho is a fellow member of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountant (HKICPA) and The Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants in UK (ACCA). She is currently a non-executive director and was the Finance Director and deputy Chief Executive of Fortune Oil Plc, a company listed in the London Stock Exchange. She worked in a range of positions in controller and operations departments at Esso Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Exxon Mobil.
Financial Controller, Ms Florence Ma
Ms Ma is a fellow member of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and The Association of the Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and an associate member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Ms Ma has extensive experience in finance, accounting and corporate governance. Prior to joining Harrow International, Ms Ma worked in different multinational corporations such as AES and GlaxoSmithKline and played controller or managerial roles in the Greater China region.
