Reinforcing and enhancing the reputation of the Harrow name is a priority for the Harrow International Schools. To this end, internal and external quality assurance mechanisms are well-established.

Pupil admissions
Admission is by merit based upon admissions tests and interviews.

Professional review
An annual Professional Review of each staff member is conducted from which CPD targets are set.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
A CPD Co-ordinator is responsible for coordinating the availability of CPD based on the targets set out in the Professional Review.

Development Plan
The Schools devise and implement development plans with annual targets. These are approved and monitored by HIMS.

Accreditation
The Schools seek accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS). The CIS accreditation format and structure inform each School’s own development planning and also form the framework for the HIMS Standard Operating Polices on which each School is expected to base its own policies.

Director of Schools
The Director of Schools (HIMS) visits the Schools once a month, and sits on each of The Schools' s Governing Boards.

Harrow School Governors
Two Harrow School Governors visit the Schools once a term and attend all School Board meetings.
