The Harrow Foundation
Harrow School was founded in 1572 and today is a boys’ boarding school, Years 9-13, operated by the Harrow Foundation. In the 1870s, the Harrow Foundation also established the John Lyon School, a day school at Harrow for local boys, Years 9-13. Under license to the Harrow Foundation, the first international school in Bangkok in 1998, in Beijing in 2005 and, in 2012, is open in Hong Kong. The school in Bangkok has 1200 students, boys and girls from Early Years to Year 13 with 100 in boarding. Harrow Beijing has 450 day boys and girls ranging from Early Years to Year 13. Harrow Hong Kong is open with 800 students and grow to 1200 in its fifth year. It is also be co-educational with students from Early Years to Year 13 with 400 in boarding.
